    Well, deep for Lake Austin. Only place we can find crappie are deep and in channels.

    Finicky but finally on minnow tipped jig and only three before they moved. Could not locate anymore before we gave up. Looking for spring.

    Glad you got out and wet a line. Weather continues to be gnarly up our way and last months odd winter rains have the CORP dumping still. X 2 on looking for spring. It seems a long way off in our neck of the woods...

    We are seeing some signs of change. It water temp inches a bit closer to 60° I think we will start fan casting jigs to shallow water adjacent to mouths of creeks on sand. We should start to see other signs like their beds on side imaging. That will help immensely. Tuesday looks like a good possibility with sunny, yet cool (High 50-54) temps.

    Last year I noticed when water temp hit 58 some moved shallow after a rain. But
    There were still lots of fish holding in the deeper channels.
    I was lucky enough to fish 2 days before anybody but me figured it out.
