    Default Will I need to exchange transducers ?


    I'm about to order a Humminbird Helix Chirp Mega SI GPS G3N sonar. I have read that some people send in the smaller transducers that comes with certain Side image units to get an upgraded transducer for better SI detail. Will the one that comes with the sonar I'm ordering give a same or better detail than the one folks are trading in for?
    I may be getting older but I refuse to grow up.

    That unit should come with the mega transducer. No need to upgrade.

    Mine came with the best transducer and that is why I mounted it on the trolling motor.
