    Ice Nitro, i have a 12" graph also, this is interesting because your 2d shows the fish arches, harder for me to see on the Di, the bottom set is the opposite, easier to see the fish on the DI. I need to play with my sensitivity i believe on my 2d cause most things show up as bigger blobs. Thanks for your post

    Chart speed, boat speed and fish position in the beam is what determines the type or lack of arches you will see. Also the beam width a wider beam will not show arches as well as a narrow beam generally because you will see more fish not directly under the boat.

    Mike ; The 12`s give us plenty of room to split. DI is a slice and 2D is a cone. 2d can give me more coverage area and DI gives me detail. Of course there are endless tweaks ...
