    Looks like those rough fish egg sack things that you see stuck on brush from time to time.

    I agree with fishinline. I leave my sharpness off most of the time when searching, but if scanning brush pile or standing timber for fish if you set the sharpness to low or med the fish will show up as white spots and stand out otherwise they are just another amber spot. I run my on amber most of the time and the sharpness really make a difference when looking for fish. It will make the picture a little more fuzzy though on my unit but its a base model 998 HB. Put it on simulate and play with it and that will help you find setting and screen colors you like. Start about the middle setting and adjust up and down to find the best picture. The more you play with it off the water the easier it is when you are on the water. Good luck and let us know how you do on it.
