    I rode over it yesterday but no residents yet. I'm really hoping for some good summer time fishing. I got one more Boo made up and 2 Christmas trees to put out later this week.

    Once they start to moss up you will be in the meat. Minnows come in and the feed bag is ready for predators. Up north here that would take till mid summer but I would bet it is much quicker where you are.

    It doesn't take a lot of weight to sink bamboo. I like to use a half 5 gallon bucket with about 20-25 lbs of concrete in it to sink mine. I do the same when using hardwood slats. All my tops are put in by me alone as well. 25-40 lbs is manageable by yourself.
