What am I missing!
To you guys/gals that use side scan to look under docks ! What am I missing is their and certain setting or adjustments that I need to change to on my SI . I can see fish that is stacked under floating docks that are deeper but we don’t have none of those on my lake all of the ones on my lake are wood structure but I can’t seam to pass buy and find fish under them on my si helix mega 10. And I know that they are their because I have scanned and seen nothing then pull in and catch 15-20 fish . I understand that if they are on the bottom they want show up. Most the docks in my area are less than 10’ ! Thank Mitch

I'm not as experienced as most (ALL!) of the other guys, but one thing I'd suggest is to turn off the side away from the dock so your whole screen is showing the side aimed at the dock you're looking at; that will provide more detail. The other thing that came to mind is to turn up the sensitivity in hopes of showing up the fish that might be their that you might miss at a lesser setting.

Press the check mark button to change the SI frequently to 455kHz ...
455kHz will not be as detailed as 800kHz or 1200kHz - but it will show fish higher in the water column because 455kHz covers from the water's surface to past vertical under the boat ...
