was wondering your thought on buying a Helix 12 over a Helix 10 of same model is the 2 in more screen worth it

12" screen at the console (3ft away from your face) may not be as advantageous as a 12" screen at the bow (upwards of 6ft away from your face) ...
One might consider where the unit will be mounted to help determine if the 12" is needed over the 10" ...

I have a 10 at the console and a 12 at the bow as well. Works great for me.
Not to complicate things but I believe you can buy the solix 10 for less than the helix 12. Gives you touch screen and ability to configure your own screens. I think the resolution is better also. But I dont think it shares waypoints or mapping with any helix you may already have. Rickie please correct anything I may have wrong and give your opinion on this as your more knowledgeable than I am regarding this matter
