    I mounted my 12 at the consol because here in Ga we do a lot of long lining so I run my trolling motor from the back seat and watch my biggest unit there. It works very good

    I was lucky enough a couple of weeks ago to see both units on my boat. A friend brought down his Helix 12 mega. First we made multiple trips past a bush pile I had marked that was really loaded with fish. My 10" unit showed the fish really good on SI and DI. We then just switched out my 10 for his 12, WOW what a difference! All 3 views became clearer. I guess the 12" screen has a much higher resolution. I was really impressed, so much so that I went ahead and ordered a new Helix 12 Mega+ Gen3!!!!!

    Great deals right now, everybody is blowing out mega GN2,s and it’s what ever you can afford, I just moved my mega 9 si to the back and installed a new mega 10 DI and new 360 on Rickie’s Da Ducer up front then networked it all. Quite a expense and feel like It will work for me however this week, the 12,s are only 100 bucks or so more than the 10’s if you shop around. Shop for the deals!!! I am happy with my setup.

    just what i wanted to hear i got the 12 helix si boat and unit should be here soon getting exited
