More DI Images
Finally made it back on the water, lake level is up about 8'. Crappie are really stacking up on deeper brush. Really loving the my Helix Mega 12 DI unit on my trolling motor. The 2d images have improved but the quality of the DI images is way better than I'm getting from my Helix Mega 10 SI/DI unit at my console. I'll try to post some comparison screenshots from both units next time.

I have a similar setup. Dedicated di on front and si-di combo at steering wheel. Front is much better di than the combo. I’ve read that it’s because it has its own di crystal.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. The Mega SI/DI unit I have at the console does have a dedicated di crystal, it is not a blended image like the orginal non mega Helix units. Don't get me wrong the di on this unit is pretty good but nowhere near as nice as the new Mega di. I know they made an improvement with the 2D transducer but it looks like they improved the di transducer part as well.
