From what I've seen and read about them at BBC they seem like a well built unit with some nice features, however I've yet to see any real crisp quality images as compared to the latest from Humminbird or Lowrance IMO.
Been reading about these FF and sound like they offer some good options, anyone here have any input?

I have a HB, Lowrance & Axiom- The Ray Marine is the clearest & sharpest by far. All units are the same size and price range.
Hey typeman1, sounds great! Would love to see some side by side screenshots from all 3 units of the same stuff, brush, docks, rocks, etc. I'm sure ALLOT of people would be I terested in your results!

I would have to agree pictures would be nice if I recall correctly the axiom Pro is rather new so pictures will be nice to see
I do know it's going to be hard to beat the mega units for side Imaging
I'm almost ready to pick one up try see how it works but will hold off untill I see what's new coming out for next year

ICAST was last week. Not a whole lot new except Garmin Livescope. But others could release new stuff at anytime, you never know.
I have 4 raymarine axiom plus a garmin echomap so I can run panoptix. In my opinion they are a great unit.

Does anyone out there similar units from different manufacturers that can go out and take some side by side screenshots of different stuff like docks, brush, rocks with fish on them so we can compare images? Pretty Please!!!!!!!!!!!
