I guess if you have experience with IMAGING and or Sonars that's one thing, it's fine but if you want to run thru ALL of the settings, see the effects and try different settings LEAVE them home at least one trip.
If someone goes out with me to LEARN, then there's no fishing involved to distract picking up new ideas, settings and info.
Find out the inner workings and setting FIRST - then fish the fishing spots you didn't know about!
Thanks for the endorsement. The Eagle has been as reliable as sunrise, but was made before water temp was a feature. Like Pappy said, it’s been mostly for depth finding. Further, there is enough grey hair to remind me that I can only do one thing at a time.
