    Default Transducer

I bought a used Helix 9 si. It came with a transducer for the trolling motor, but I need one for the rear of my pontoon. What transducer do I need?

I got the transducer mounted in the bracket that holds the live well pump on my pontoon but, the motor will block any signal from the right side of the boat. What are people doing for side imaging on a pontoon?

There is the option of left and right SI xducer with this Y cable ...

*2d/Right SI/Temp would come from the Starboard mounted SI xducer ...
*Left SI would come from the port mounted xducer ...

I don't have a bracket on the right pontoon to mount another transducer. I guess I will just see one side or just use the other views.
    thanks Rickie

When I had a leak repaired on my now gone pontoon boat. I had him install another bracket on the other pontoon. Only charged me another 25 to do it. Allowed me great flexibility in my sonar set ups. Also was a good selling point when I sold it.

Rickie, I bought the transducer you recommended for my pontoon but when I get over about 18-20 mph my Helix 9 only shows 1.6' deep. When I slow down it will show the right depth.

Air is getting under the xducer causing the Sonar to lose bottom ...

You can try tilting the back of the xducer housing down a little and/or lowering the xducer housing ...
