Thread: Attn Garmin users... Is the Striker 5 DV with a GT-20 transducer a good unit?

Just came across a Garmin Striker 5 DV with a GT-20 'ducer. Looks like a nice little unit, with a good-looking screen.

I've been reading Fishing Ranger's thread with his amazing pictures from his 7 SV. I know this is not an SI unit, but does it do a good job with the down view imaging?

Also, does anyone know a good way to mount a transducer to a MK Terrova TM? I tried it a while ago, and ended up ripping the cable apart.

Of the four major brands Garmin has the worst down imaging. Get a Helix if that is important to you.
