Ok. It did not work at the tourney Thursday. I messed with it some on Friday. Turns out the 7 is a Gen2, (my bad). I did software update. Still didn't see any lights on the LSS, so I unbolted the unit from its mounting place. Lo and behold from the right angle you can see the lights. Everything appears to be on as it should be. I have not had a chance to get it back in the water, but, I did notice that it was showing a depth of 1 foot and before it had not shown a depth only a temp. Plan to put it in the water this afternoon if all goes well.

Ok finally managed to get back on the water for a few during my lunch break. Helps when the office is 100 yds from the boat ramp, lol. Anyway, the Structurescan is working. I played with the contrast and range settings some and got it looking halfway decent but the outboard is causing some interference. I have horizontal lines covering the entire screen until I shut the motor off. Then it is clear as a bell. Do I remember reading about some kind of filter or something that goes on the ends of the transducer cable that blocks this? I switched one of the clarity settings to high and it helped alot but I lost most of the bottom detail. Thanks for your help fellas....

Try routing the xducer cable as far away from the motor wiring as possible ...

A buddy of mine told me to check my ground. Sure enough it was loose. I will try it again this eve. If that's not it i"ll reroute the transducer wires. Thanks Rickie!
