    Default Down Imaging/Transducer location


    Pretty sure I know the answer, but, will ask anyway.
    I know an in hull (shoot thru) transducer will not work for side view,
    but was wondering if it would for down imaging?

    Shoot thru fiberglass xducers are usually 2d only ...

    There was a time when HB said their DI xducers could be used as shoot thru ... but they've changed that now and do not recommend DI xducers used as shoot thru ...
