    Default Bow Ducer

Has anyone used a Bow Ducer? I jacked up my trolling motor ducer cable when using spot lock on my new Terrova80 and do not want to mount to it again. This looks to be a good product and I really want my Helix9 HD DI/SI ducer to read directly under me. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I got one in the shop to mount on my boat when I was thinking about putting side scan on the front. I have since bought a pontoon and will mount it on it when I get another unit. I mounted the garmin on the console. It is well built and should be good for a long time.

I bought a Helix G2N mega last year. [I] have it on the bow. Some time ago I bought a mount from Podunkideas.com. He (rnvinc) is a member here on CDC, he is a great guy to do business with. He also is a wealth of information, here and on other boards. I think mine is The SS model, As you can see in the pics, I have mounted my GPS antenna right on top of my transducer. Interesting. That far out, it's almost like having panoptix or 360!

I tightline in the front. I use 3/4 electrical conduit pipe. I can put it out as far as I want, or have it short. I have a 16' boat so a six foot pipe is just right. It works great.

I used this mount for a couple years on my last boat. I had a Terrova on the boat and didn't want to take a chance on getting the cable twisted up and damaged. It worked fine. I left it on the boat when I sold it because the boat I have now has a Fortrex.

I believe the best option is the Da-ducer by rnvinc, built very strong and very easy to deploy and retract, much thicker than the picture of yours.Name: IMG_4124.jpg
