I've got a BowDucer and love it. I would have gone with Rickie's DaDucer but I couldn't mount it where I wanted.

The Da Ducer looks very durable but it is big. I will need room for all the spider rigging equipment and such. Thanks for all the info guys, it never fails to amaze me with all knowledge I receive from here.

I have banged into trees, knobs and such. All I do is get a new 10 foot length of electrical conduit at Home Depot. I do like the Da-Ducer but its a bit pricy for me as of now. But new boat is on the horizon and that will be the way I go this time.

The ducer apparatus is very well built product. Cornfield Crappie Gear also makes a cable saver that protects the cable.

I believe there is a a video on your tube that shows how to run the cable in the shaft of the terrova. I have fished with guys who have done this and have no problem.

The new model Terrova has a lift assist mechanism that makes the in shaft install of the cable impossible. I? contemplated removing the lift assist but I? kind of like it. I? believe I’ll try the bow ducer for now though.

https://precisionsonar.com/products/ has a cable guard that works perfectly on my Ulterra.

This thing looks great but takes up a lot of real estate.
