The Da Ducer looks very durable but it is big. I will need room for all the spider rigging equipment and such. Thanks for all the info guys, it never fails to amaze me with all knowledge I receive from here.

I've got a BowDucer and love it. I would have gone with Rickie's DaDucer but I couldn't mount it where I wanted.

What scares me with this one is docks and trees.

I have banged into trees, knobs and such. All I do is get a new 10 foot length of electrical conduit at Home Depot. I do like the Da-Ducer but its a bit pricy for me as of now. But new boat is on the horizon and that will be the way I go this time.

The ducer apparatus is very well built product. Cornfield Crappie Gear also makes a cable saver that protects the cable.
I believe there is a a video on your tube that shows how to run the cable in the shaft of the terrova. I have fished with guys who have done this and have no problem.
