    1. For the screenshots, yes, you should be able to pull them off your sd card - just like a regular photo.
    2. Unsure. Haven't used homeport enough to matter.
    3. ?
Glad to hear you had some improvement!

    1. Is there any way to get a snapshot from a saved recording, so I can post it here?
    2. Does Home Port crash a lot for any of you? Mine seems to crash and need to be restarted every time I try certain functions.

BY THE WAY... I worry that I'm kind of hijacking this thread. Should I start a fresh thread, or is this all part of the conversation?

    Thanks!

While replaying the recording in HomePort hit PrintScreen on your keyboard when you get to create a screenshot of the shot you want to post. Open any image editing program you have on your computer, like MS Paint. Control V will paste your screenshot. Crop out the unwanted screen capture and save as a jpg. It won't look as good as one directly from the Garmin, but it's better than nothing.

Thank you so much for that help! I really appreciate it.

Here is a screen shot of fish around pilings in 32' of water. This was my first time recording, and I didn't know I could take a snap of the actual returns, so I had to play the recording, and then take a screenshot from there, These were the fish we were catching, with some nice ones mixed in:

Nice! Glad it's working out for you! What is the slightly curve line, about 5', on the left side?

I'm pretty sure that's my stringer of fish.
I've thought about adding a livewell, but the stringer works fine. But maybe I should now, so it doesn't interfere with my side scanner, ha ha.

A couple side images of crappie hopefully. They weren't biting too great. Managed 11 on a few docks.

Very cold here in upstate sc. Temps in the 20s last nite with highs in the 40s. Marked some fish on docks but they were tight lipped.
