If you have not changed the "camera icon" or "Sxxxxx" number (S = SnapShot) in HumminbirdPC, then you can reinstall the snapshots to an SD card and reinstall in your HB Unit. You then should be able to move the cursor over the waypoint and see the "thumbnail snap" and push "check" and view full screen. Then you can change them.

Changing SnapShot name: You CAN NOT change SnapShot name. When you "Edit" a waypoint in Waypoint Management you can change the name and icon, when you do this the program will note the change in (I assume) the .dat file. You can still see the snapshot when you move your cursor over the waypoint, but the SnapShot file name will not change.

The problem I had was I changed a lot of my waypoints in HumminbirdPC before I know if you did that you would loss the ability to go back and link the SnapShot. When I say a lot I mean 1000-2000.

I agree you can rename and change icon in HumminbirdPC , which is easier than on your unit, but at times I still would like to see what was marked. We have a lot of high water in the spring and last spring we had lakes a 20-30ft over normal. All this water current caused a lot of our waypoint to get washed down lake somewhere. So if I can't find one I go back and see what was it and could it have been washed away.

    Hope this helps!
"Hope this Helps" Hell its killing me ; I am getting brain strain from all the homework. Na ; I appreciate being enlightened even though my light burns dim. I am still digging into the first paragraph...

You boys teach me things that I implement and use. Very helpful information... Much appreciated; thank you.
