    Default Urban Crappie

Well, after fighting the wind at LOZ Sat with no luck I decided to head over to Stephens Lake. Fished 3 hours and caught 13 decent fish. All were caught on a float 4 feet deep, jig color didn't matter. Got back home in time to watch the 99 crush the Las Vegas speedway!!!

NICE, very nice catch and dinner! Got any left overs? I got beat up yesterday on Truman with nothing to show for it. Glad you caught some. I almost got up this AM and went to Lamar lake to see if the bite was any better but the wind was blowing so hard I just stayed home.

Stephens lake, huh? I've never fished it. What's up with the fins on those fish, it looks like most of them have a piece of the tail fin missing?

    Josh,

Good job. Lived in Columbia several years, but never fished Stephens. Used to play golf there once and a while. Those fresh crappie sure taste good don't they!!

Didn't think I was gonna catch anything so I didn't bring a bucket or stringer. My buddy did so I cut the tail so I could identify my fish. Also did it so nice Mr Conservation agent is happy.
