    Default Good deal?

I have 6 Trolling polls and 2 trolling racks that came with a boat I recently purchased. 3 of the poles are Uncle Bucks Trolling Rods Super Stiff Graphite 14 ft. The other 3 poles are 12 ft, Panfish Special Graphite. All 6 come with reels.
    $120

Hmmm ..... $20 per rod x 6rods = $120 --- don't sound like too bad a deal. Plus 6 reels sweetens the pot a little, depending on "what" reels they are. And if the "trolling racks" are included, that would make it a very generous deal.

Whether or not those particular rods are worth $120 to YOU is the big question !!

So I get off work, drive an hour only to look at garbage. He told me on the phone when I asked specifically about the tips that they were in " good shape, no cracks and no broken eyes". Well two of the three pst143 had broken rod tips and the third tip was cracked! So I politely passed on them and drove another hour to the house. Still not sure why he thought I would buy broken rods after I asked about the condition.

Why would you waste your time? Would have insisted on him posting pics of them, before making the trip. Not willing to do that, then don't waste your time going.

He had pictures but I was hard to see the tips that's why I asked specifically about them. Don't worry it wont happen again. It just takes one bad experience to ruin it. Honesty is hard to find no a days. GuessI'll be buying new lol

Think I would have offered him 10 bucks ea and bought replacement tips from grizzly and still been in them worth the money. Just me.
