    Default Warm Water Wagon Fishin'

Braved the heat Wed to try some brushpiles a buddy put out a few weeks ago. My handtied orange/black/chrt and chrt/white/chrt jigs in 1/8th did the trick.

What kind of contraption is that boat? It looks like the innards of a bass scamp met a belly boat in a secluded alley way?

It's called a water wagon. They were mass produced years ago in the Panhandle of Texas. Getting hard to find now, as they quit making them several years ago. Made of a type foam (Arcel) that isn't affected by gas or oil like styrofoam is. You use the outboard to get to your location, then use flippers and it's a lot like tube fishing. With my 235lbs on it, rigged out, it goes about 4mph with a Honda 2hp.

boatboy, I was at Lake Kickapoo...close to Wichita Falls. Fished Ft. Phantom a few times this spring. You probably fished it a lot when you where in Abilene.
