I bought a 1000 and a 2000 about 3 years ago.
Both wrapped the line under the spools while retrieving on the 1st trip out.
They've been sitting in the boxes ever since, moved on to better quality...

I use the anti-glare coated one on my Helix 10. Shows no distortion, but really don't know how much glare it knocks off.
Have had a couple of jigs glance off it without incident.
Hope I never have...
