What about DI pointed forward and on its side? The beam would shoot like the LS. You would just have live with the line it would draw on the screen like when you are anchored over fish.

Probably would be a good idea to buy some sandbags or cinder blocks. Find floating trees/new brush piles n sink them where they float. Lots of water probably moving through.

FYI Tamarac bridge is 80” inches at -.53 full pond with a tape measure. Equals about 74” inches at full pond.385731
