I think the odd pattern started when the water temp stabilized and then started going back up a month ago. I don't think weather is a big factor this time of year. But , the wind has been blowing...

Water temp 45 and clairity is fair. there was some to be caught today we just had to work for them. we never hit an active pod...

We got on the water in marina area around 11 and fished for 4 hours. I was surprised that water temp was still upper 50's ; 57 degrees and fairly clear. Sams jig heads and 2" stingers were the ticket...

They forecast great weather Saturday ant they were right. We caught about 20 (6 keeps) from Sailboat on up past RR bridge on Sam's small pink/char minnow baits. Water temp was 55 and water visibility...

It was a beautiful day ! B-in-law need to check out a boat he got a few months back. Trolled crakbaits for 4 hours. 1 nice smallie and a keeper crappie. Main lake had some color ; 72 degrees.

Way to stay after them DR !!! I thought Sam was the only guy who caught fish with lips...

Sam and I pulled the trigger on heading east. Water was 80 degrees and looked good. Its a little over a foot high and letting out around 250 cfps. We had a good time and caught some small white bass...
