The boat ramp at cedar is on the north side of the mouth of the creek but it is a very steep angle.

Fished 7-3:30, caught plenty of fish but mostly all small. Fished 12-20 FOW pulling Jigs. best color Tenn. shad. Don't know where the bigger fish were but I know that I didn't find them.

Dutch did you only catch channel cats? I didn't see any of the nasty catfish that taste like mud.

I just changed to 24v trolling motor. Do I need a stand alone battery for the outboard or can I just use 12v off of one of the 24v system? What about the Lawrence HDS, can I run it with the trolling...

Do ya'll see any relationship between jig sizes and crappie sizes? Does longer bulky jigs catch bigger crappie? Is this a way to cull out smaller fish?

Started out fishing for crappie but wound up wit zero. An 11 pound striper did manage to find a jig.
