We were fishing in about 30 feet of water, the fish were about 12-15 feet down. We put one fish back that was about 9 1/2 " long. The rest were good size keepers.

You should really look at the RAM 109-H. I have one on a 997 and it is sturdy as a rock. Loosen the handle and it will turn any direction. I'll try to post a pic here.
