The stuff I'm referring to is the liquid in a bottle. Crappie nibbles seem to work to keep em on the hook longer, but the liquid..not sure if it works.

I have no problems finding the shad...they're...
I have no problems finding the shad...they're everywhere, including big gizzard shad.
Clouds of em on sonar.
It's hard to differentiate the shad from crappie on sonar though.
