I bought the Kastking Zephyr. I intend to use it for all panfishing. I haven’t tried it yet, plan on heading out to my favorite pond this weekend and give it a whirl.

I think it was some kind of pumpkinseed hybrid. I didn’t take pictures. Caught two of them before I had to leave.

It’s a combo that I bought. Just lists it as a Zebco 33 rod. It’s ultralight.

I was in Academy the last weekend and saw that they sold live worms. I'm definitely going to give it a try.

Anyone here also use spincast gear? I have spinning and baitcasters but sometimes I enjoy the simplicity of a spincast setup. I’ve got a Zebco micro 33 and a Pflueger trigger spin.

Anyone know of a good book about these fish? I did a search but didn’t get very many hits.
