SAE threads, 3/8x16, 1/2x13, but if you what to extend the stem for the trolling bar, it would be difficult because of the bar seat that is welded to the top of the stem.

We don't make a taller stem, but we do make rod holders with a 8" stem, that on top of the T-Bar would get you higher.

I tried all day yesterday to get on the site ,but could not. The rod holders screw in and out of the bases.If I were installing on fiberglass and could use nuts and bolts, I would use a fender washer...

The bases are screwed on, so I don't think that would be considered easily removable. We do make flush mount bases that should be low enough not to interfere with your trolling motor.
