Great report! Now it just needs to warm up a little.

Took the wife to Sangchris this afternoon. The water temp in the east arm was 70. We caught a ton of 5-8” crappie in 5-9 feet of water.

Quite a boon for the crappie population.

We were out there also. It was nice to take the family out in the pontoon. There were surprisingly few boats out Saturday with perfect weather. We caught enough keeper crappie to add to the freezer.

I see this as a good thing. Sangchris is a relatively small lake, so now it will be open to more fishermen.

Yes, that’s correct. At least a person can fish the lake if you have a large HP motor. It is my understanding that the policy is being implemented at most restricted lakes in the state.
