Really good info in this thread! I'd not heard about drying them out to keep them on the hook better, but I'll definitely be doing that now.

Well, made it back home from Dardanelle. Thoroughly enjoyed the weather, the scenery, and my guide (Charles Morrison with Classic Catch Guide Services - great guy), but the fishing was really poor....

Any other names for guides? Nimrod was kind enough to give me some helpful local lake info, but he's not guiding much since the 'rona started, which I totally understand.
