Has anyone fished Peabody WMA?

Was thinking about taking the kids and the canoe to Peabody the first week of April to try and get some big bluegill.

We're closest to the Ohio county lakes.

Any tips? Suggestions on what lake...

I can cast a fly rod, but spend too much time trying to tie the right dang knot.

Also, what sizes are people using. I'm not a fly fishing guy. Trying to learn.

I see it mentioned, but never get the whole picture on how people are doing this.

Some are just dropping a fly under a bobber. How else are people using flies on spinning tackle?

If anyone runs up on a copy electronic or print, let me know.

I haven't been able to find a copy. Any idea where one might get it?

Peabody WMA

Looking at Sea Eagle inflatables for mostly flat water. I'd like to keep on in the travel trailer.

Anyone have any experience? Looking at the FastTrack series specifically.

With a BnM, the fish fear me.

The Dam Quick 110 is easily reversed from left to right hand retrieve.

I'm using a Mitchell 408 on my 7' Microlite.

I've been using the older version of that reel. The Quick Microlite. I've got a couple of 110's and a 110N as well. Nice reels.

I twitched along the bottom yesterday with good results.

I've got a Mitchell 314 with a large spool. I may give it a try. Thanks.

Are the bodies the same size across the Magnet line?

Caught about 20 or 30 bluegill this morning from the bank casting out to some cover. Some were pretty decent size for the local lake, 8-9". Maybe a 10" or two. I could do better if I could get out...
