The pics of the specks has been killin’ me all over Facebook. Been cravin’ those tasty critters but water is still up but I have to go take a gander I guess but worse case scenario I’ll have to wait...

Looks like I’ll have to wait ‘till the water recede’s and that’ll be in January I’m sure. Would like to go out now but way to high.

Lew’s Wally Marshall 6’6” speed shooter combo. Slime Line 6 lb test super stretch mono line, 1/16 oz jig head paired with Crappie Magnet/Slab Magnet. They eat those bait up.

Went out last Thursday out of Mullet Lake/SJR area and managed to bring home 3 decent size Specks. Very tasty to. Next on my trip list goin’ to hit up lake Monroe/SJR area. Can’t wait…love that...

That’s a nice heap of specks. I’ve lost a rod before speck fishin’’.

It was a slow day out on the channel of ol' saint john's river. Current was stronger than usual but did manage to bring home 4 specks. And caught my first Shad fish, jumpy little thing. And the dogs...
