I use a 4'6" ultralight graphite rod. Big bream...
I use a 4'6" ultralight graphite rod. Big bream are a blast to catch on it. I use an Uncle Buck's "crappie" ultralight baitcaster with 2 pound line. I don't crappie fish with it, just the bream.

For large flatheads I like 10/0 King Kahle hooks from Eagle Claw. I fish on a budget, but I can still handle any flathead that wants to take the bait with a Penn 309 spooled with 30 lb braided line....
