You can install a second SI transducer on the opposite side, buy a Y cable to split the signal and have a clean shot both ways.

The Helix is extremely sensitive to voltage requirements. use at least 14 GA wire and solder all connections. A 3-amp fuse is needed inline also. Run separate wires from your battery to electronics...

I have installed both, the Lowrance on a friends boat. I was shocked at the size of the transducer. I think it produces a weaker signal and needs a larger "antenna" to pick up that signal. I am sure...
