Fish are scattered. Had to work pretty hard today. Caught some 10ft brush pile, 25ft bridge piling & 3ft grass line. However, these were bigger fish probably averaging over 11” with several over 15”....

If you have a boat, you can try the structure added by texas parks and wildlife. The GPS cordinates are online. I do not believe Canyon is known for the crappie though..

It's disappointing the buckets are not holding...
It's disappointing the buckets are not holding fish. Likewise, I put out several bamboo condos last year and caught very few fish in them. Yet, my natural brush piles were loaded almost instantly....
