finaly got some crappie. they were pre spawn. right as it was getting dark and had to leave. one after another. nice school 40 yards from where they will spawn in few weeks.

i like this pole with a small solo reel with fire line. i have the 12 ft i spent 80 or so. now i cant believe the price increase is 100 to 120 on walmart and amazon!

i have not heard of waholi rods before. i was searching their site. the sam heaton is a great rod. i use it with a small bnm line keeper reel. very good combo.

i have a bbul with rear seat and its very light. i also just bought a acc stix 11 ft with rear seat. i havent fished with it yet but it feels lighter.

the mister twister electric has worked for me. i recomend it

at first i used a suction cup mount for a cheapy fish finder and it worked but now this mount works great when trolling my canoe for crappie. hope it gives a few some good ideas.
