well,
another productive day , was foggy and overcast all day.
my weather for fishing
caught 6 keepers , smallest was 9 1/2 “.
Big fish was 13”.
Caught on ultra lite and 4 lb line

Arrived at sunrise to chase some gills
was a fogging , breezy morning then turn super nice.
caught 25 fish total , 8 were released.
one was a toad.

As things become more complicated, they become less reliable.
trouble shooting isn’t possible if expensive equipment isn’t purchased. So items are returned to the manufacturer.

in my area along the canals the fish are moving up.
yesterdays mourning bite 7:00-11:00 am.

I love the roadrunners. They cover a lot of water, and catch fish for me.

A good late winter,early spring is lake havasu az. Awesome red ear, and bluegill, have caught them to 3.5 lbs. record is in the 6lb range.
if your looking for a retirement spot this is one to check...

I had a 1000 daiwa legalis Lt, I leaned it up against my jeep and run it over. Loved the reel, it was the older blue model

It's a very under presured resource. When they raised the dam 117ft, it flooded all the chaparral growing on the hillsides, then the quagga mussels starting to attach to the plants, its nasty....
