The only difference is the gt52 has a dedicated center element the CV52HW-TM doesn't. You get a clearer picture just not as wide as the cv52hw-tm

Goggle Garmin and call them. They will be able to tell you which transducer you need. You can buy it through them but I would find on online it will be cheaper
