Went to Mozingo this last weekend. Threw a jig around and caught one small crappie. Also threw a nightcrawler out and caught a small channel cat.350565

It was very fun! First time I've caught a crappie in my area and it's all thanks to the knowledge of this group, but mostly the knowledge I have received from Warrensburger

Caught 3 10inch crappie about 5-10foot from the bank in about 2-6ft of water on Sunday along with several bass. Fishing from a kayak, jigging around natural structures near the bank.

Went out to Mozingo, Charity, and Bilby Ranch lakes today and found mostly ice. Did see a few bald eagles though. Ready for warmer weather.

I've never tried, only caught monster catfish. It's really muddy and strong current, so I'm not sure. Maybe someone with more knowledge could shed some light

Okay, I heard it's hard to fish from the bank, but might try to get over there to try it if we get a warm day
