It is a 2 stroke, it will turn over 5000 but I try not to run it past that. 30mph is fastest i have had it, usually about 28. The prop on it now is pretty rough.

i talked to one shop that guys at my work use for stainless props, he wasn't interested in fixing it. He told me to look on Iboats for new but 17 was highest pitch they showed.
maybe 17 would work... -

I have a 16.5 ft Polar Kraft with a Johnson 50. Prop on it now is an aluminum 11.5 x 19 Part#176423

I have always used a 6 or 6.5ft rod for crappie, but guy I fished with some has an 8ft ACC crappie styx rod that I tried. I will be ordering one as soon as they have some in stock.
