My wife has canned many pints & half-pints of crappie by pressure canning. We use the canned crappie to make crappie fish patties or add to any recipe requiring canned fish.

Drove over to Rocky Fork this afternoon. North Shore boat ramp was iced over. The entire cove was iced up.

A buddy & I drove over to check out the ramp at Paint Creek Lake this afternoon. The ramp off Rte. 50 was froze up (about an inch thick of ice). There was some open water on out towards the ski area.

Caught a few more at PC this morning. Water temp was 68 degrees. Caught 53 & kept 18 to eat.

Lots of folks out enjoying RF today. Water temp went from 63 deg. to 67 on the dam end & to 70 on the campground end of the lake. Caught 38 & kept 22 to eat.
