When you mount the transducer in the duct seal, do you put the duct seal around it or do you put the duct seal on the hull, then push the transducer into it? Thanks Todd

I had a 6 foot one I caught a lot of fish with. Someone wanted it more than me and helped themselves to it. I'll buy another one to replace it. it was a tough rod.
