The pond D.I. is talking about in Pond 34. Best bets for crappie are Pond 1, 26, 28, 34, and the Holbrook pond. I have been on all of these listed except Holbrook. 1, 26, & 28 are my favorites.

Good luck finding them for less than $4.00, especially if you want the gold head ones. That are $5.00 around here, my favorite lure for redbreast in the Ogeechee River.

This is a jackfish, close to a pike. Anything over a few pounds on these is a trophy.

That is the plastic ones Cotton Cordell made after they bought the Big O from Fred Young. They also make a balsa Big O like they use to ( I have 7 of them on the way for my buddy ).

I think they quit making them in 1973, but I'm not sure.

They are just old handmade cranks from the early 70's, I have been told that the Charlie O and the Big O were rivals.

Finally found my buddy 2 of these!! And in mint condition, too bad he is gonna fish with them!! :eek:

I got them from a guy in South Carolina, they are hard to find and cost a pretty penny. I got these for a friend, and they run about $35.00 to $45.00 each!!! :eek:

Walked to a little pond yesterday with my wife and youngest daughter. Didnt catch anything but she HAD to fish with daddy's fishing pole! We had a blast anyway!!! BTW she is only 4yrs old.

Where did you put in at? I know a real good strech of river I wanna try soon!!!! I want to put my daughter on a good mess of crappie.
