Made it to the lake Saturday afternoon for a few hours, caught a few nice crappie ,but the wind was terrible . I think if the weather will corroborate the fishing will be good in the days coming....

with the cold early spring and just getting warmer weather now i think you will do good 5/20 - 5/22. I have fished Mark twain lake for years and i do good all through May and with the cold nights...

up fishing at MT lake May 5th the fishing was great caught a ton of 9-10 in crappie a few larger , the spawn is on.

sounds like a good time , do that in an heartbeat .

I live in St Charles ,I was wondering if anybody has fished the Mississippi river at pool 26 for crappie/ white bass and had any luck.

thanks , I think I'll try a smaller lake this week and go to mark train next week.

I'm planning on going up this weekend to try for some crappie , hoping it will be fishable what do you think.
