I drove out to Columbia Saturday afternoon joyriding and lake is a couple feet low, but VERY fishable.

I fish Columbia every once in awhile. Last time I was there, you could walk just about anywhere you wanted in the northern end. I haven't been there in quite a while...

Last time I went, I fished a red/chartruse hair jig and did "ok". Probably caught 15 or so. A black/white tube jig will do ok at times as well. Rieve is correct. I have caught some really nice bass...

Currently, it appears that I may be there with my youngest daughter. Looking forward to meeting a lot of new faces.

Hey DP my brother! I am going to try to make it down. Have a new job so it is iffy. As far as my catch, we only ended up with 13 smaller ones, but it is a start.

We are going to start out at gold creek around 10:00 but will travel to anywhere someone else recommends ;-)
