As I understand it, A 12 volt battery fully charged will read about 12.9 volts. A dead battery will read about 12.0 volts, typically. So I'd say your battery is dead.

You can put the weight above a barrel swivel and then tie a snap swivel to the leader (about 3 ft.) and tie the leader to the barrel swivel. Then you can easily change baits with out having to tie on.

Most of them came off the flats jigging trees. We did pretty good rigging the mouths of couple coves but that method only turned up shorts.
