What's your water temp? Natural bodies or reservoirs?

so, no luck on the crappie. I did catch 3 dinks on a beetle spin, but water temp was 59, so they probably have not yet begun to move up to the banks. Water clarity was still a bit murky.

I am planning to head up to Lake Hennessey on Saturday, to see whether they may b moving up to spawn. Hopefully the water has cleared a bit with no rain for a week. Any suggestions or tips...

What was your technique out there? Deep water or catching them on the spawn? The water has been so clear and I see no fish anywhere. Probably muddy now.

we, some of us are here, but haven't figured out how to catch the elusive crappie/whiteperch/sac-au-lait over here in NorCal. Would love a lesson.

No luck today. There were a few bass in the tule grass, lots of bait back in the creeks, but I did not locate the crappie. Need to try Berryessa.

Going to try Hennessy in my kayak today. Just got a new battery for the fish finder, so we will see if they have any there.
